Welcome to Surf Foil Academy.

Surf Foil Academy is a comprehensive online instructional course designed for user-friendly foiling progression. The course utilizes Slingshot’s multi-mast learning system with our Hover Glide FSURF foil platform. We break the learning process down to the basics for you. Within the academy you will find valuable, first-hand information, covering progressive steps, skills and safety, to enable your journey in becoming a proficient surf foiler.

This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn how to foil in a safe and structured manner. Begin with the short 15" mast and increase to the 24" mast as your skills progress. After this course you will be handling and talking about your foil like a pro. Each lesson contains a wealth of valuable information, tips and tricks to take away!

Follow along and learn everything there is to know about surf foiling. From assembly, how to carry, the ideal conditions, tricks and techniques, this course is a one-stop shop to get you from saying “what the f***” to “how did I ever live without this.”

Foil Academy is organized into sequential lessons that allow you to progress at your own pace. As you advance through the course, keep in mind that it’s a work in progress. We value user feedback and encourage you to send us tips on how we can improve the course for the future.
